LIVESTOCK sector plays a major role in our economy. The sector has made big strides in recent years. There are seven Universities in our country now which provide Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree. A DVM programme typically lasts four years and features in-depth training in animal sciences in proper way.
Poor people living across the country can easily engage themselves in poultry farming. The business can be highly profitable by investing a little money.
There are various government and non-governmental organisations (NGOs) which provide training for poultry farming. Students, who are yet to find an employment can take training on poultry farming and start poultry projects on their own.
